PSW working in Long term care Partnership Projects
A Personal Support Worker, also known as a Personal Care Attendant, looks after a Resident's physical, mental, and emotional well-being who cannot do so themselves, typically in the elderly population. The primary responsibilities of a Personal Support Worker include ensuring the residents has healthy and nutritious meals, helping the residents with daily tasks, and working with an interdisciplinary team to ensure the best quality of care.

Our Elderly Day Care service provides a safe and supportive environment for seniors to spend their day. Our experienced staff is dedicated to creating a comfortable and engaging atmosphere where seniors can socialize, participate in activities, and receive help with everyday tasks. We strive to give our elderly clients the care and attention they deserve.

Clients are allowed to pack their lunch, Personal support workers will help feed them, and morning and afternoon snacks are served daily

Families are encouraged to drop off and pick up their loved ones or arrange transportation with Public Transit Mobility.

Each program has a daily fee for service.
Medication reminders
Families should provide any medications to be taken during the Day Program and details about timings or special requests to the Day Program Staff. Staff will safely store medications once received at the program and deliver to clients. Once reminded, clients can take their medications by themselves as part of our safe medication procedures.

People with disabilities and cognitive impairments are too often assumed to be less capable and more in need of supervision. They are generally more valued and appreciated than once but are still treated less like full human beings with the real agency than other disabled people.
